Departure time is quickly approaching.
The "to do" list is getting more and more crossed off each day.
It's nearly time!
This truly will be a trip of a life time and I am thankful to so many people for their advice, their help when I have questions and their support as I try to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.
The days are gone when you "wrote home" to tell how your trip is going only to have the post card arrive after you arrive home! With technology there is a way to send notes and messages practically immediately. I just upgraded my smart phone for one month to be able to send and receive text messages for the time that I'm away. There are so many options to keep in touch quickly.
This weekend I hope to practice with Skype and maybe even see my cousins "on line" before I get there! It will be fun I think.
Oh heck the whole thing is fun. It's been fun planning it and I know I'll be much more settled once I get to the airport on Wednesday and get scanned, checked in and am sitting in the departure lounge.
But each day I keep getting closer to my departure and that's sooo exciting.
